Unlimited Group has acquired leading B2B marketing agency DirectionGroup, as it further extends its offering across the Technology and B2B sectors.
DirectionGroup, a sixty-person agency, brings extensive expertise in brand creative, content, conversion and consulting for clients including Microsoft, Fujitsu and Tata Communications. They will sit alongside industry leaders in B2B and technology communications, content marketing and lead generation, Nelson Bostock Unlimited and First Base Unlimited to create a full-service B2B and Technology marcomms offering within the market.
The acquisition meets increasing client demand for ‘connected specialists’ who can deliver distinct but integrated services and campaigns across the entire customer journey. Unlimited will have the ability to join up client-side marketing, communications and sales departments with a range of specialist services including brand development and ATL, PR, content marketing, performance marketing, channel partner communications and sales enablement.
DirectionGroup becomes DirectionGroup Unlimited as of today, with Board Partner and current Nelson Bostock Unlimited MD Nick Clark taking on the role of CEO across the B2B and Technology Pillar for Unlimited Group. Joining the senior management team will be joint Managing Directors of DirectionGroup Unlimited, Trish Harriss and Debbie Bough.

Acquisition further demonstrates Unlimited Group’s appetite for growth
This latest acquisition is the third this year for the Unlimited Group, having announced a strategic alliance with international agencies Hakuhodo and Serviceplan in January, and the acquisition of data and analytics agency Realise Unlimited – formerly Model Citizens. With the agency’s global footprint continuing to expand it further demonstrates the Group’s appetite for rapid growth on an international scale, and desire to invest in key industry sectors to greater service the needs of current and prospective clients.Back
