Cera, the digital healthcare company that uses technology to match elderly patients and families with carers to provide better social care at home, partnered with Splendid Unlimited to design, develop and deliver an innovative new healthcare app.
Launched in November 2019, the app solves many of the care industries key challenges, whilst providing patients with the modern care they rightly deserve. It has the functionality to enable immediate communication, monitoring and reporting between patients, families and carers. Using technology and processes developed in partnership with Splendid, Cera can now provide tailored, responsive care and same-day reporting to the families of patients and local health authorities.
Dan Morris, Managing Partner, Splendid Unlimited, highlights “What began with an idea to improve and digitise the feedback forms used by carers, evolved into how the needs of families and care providers could be met at the same time. The app provides the reassurance and communications a family needs to ensure their loved ones are getting the right care at the right time, in the right way. It also free’s carers from cumbersome paperwork requirements so they can focus on delivering a better quality of care.”
